Shrikhand Mahadev Trek is one of the most challenging and sacred pilgrimage treks in India. Located in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh at an elevation of 17,150 feet (5,227 meters), the trek attracts thousands of devotees and adventure enthusiasts every year. The route passes through dense forests, beautiful meadows, waterfalls, rocky terrain, glaciers, and breathtaking Himalayan landscapes before reaching the holy Shrikhand Mahadev Shivling. This trek offers a perfect blend of spirituality, adventure, and natural beauty, making it one of the most memorable Himalayan expeditions.
Early morning pickup (05:00 AM) from Chandigarh Railway Station. Drive via Shimla and Rampur to Jaon Village (Approx. 300 KM). Overnight stay at Jaon.
Begin the trek from Jaon to Thachdu covering approximately 12 KM through beautiful forests and mountain trails. Overnight camping at Thachdu.
Trek approximately 10 KM through Kali Ghati, crossing steep climbs and scenic mountain landscapes. Overnight stay at Bheemdwar Camp.
Early morning trek towards the sacred Shrikhand Mahadev Peak. Complete Darshan and return to Bheemdwar Camp. Trek Distance approximately 12 KM.
Descend through Kali Ghati back to Thachdu. Trek approximately 7 KM. Overnight camping.
Trek back to Jaon Village covering around 12 KM through forest trails. Overnight stay at Jaon.
After breakfast drive back to Chandigarh. Reach Chandigarh by approximately 11:00 PM. Tour ends with unforgettable memories.
